A Few Words with Readers at the Launch of Tech Vaidya

Dear Reader Friends,

Namaskara.

Today, February 1, 2026, is not just a date for me. It is the moment a long-cherished dream has come true. As I present to you the new version of the 'Tech Vaidya' web portal and my dream project, the book 'AI Bhagavadgita', I am filled with immense joy and an equal sense of responsibility.

Those who know my background are aware that I am the son of the late Venkataramana Narasimha Vaidya (Gaade Yenkanna), a renowned traditional healer from North Canara. For generations, our family has been providing remedies for people's physical ailments. However, as times changed, the nature of human problems also evolved. Today, people are plagued more by 'digital confusions' than physical illnesses. While my ancestors provided healing for physical health, I wished to provide the medicine of technological awareness to people struggling in the complexities of this digital age. The result of that wish is Tech Vaidya.

We are living in a strange scenario today where we think a hundred times about the lock we put on our house door, but we leave the door of our mobile phone—which hides our entire life's earnings and privacy—wide open. In this era of 2026, thefts are not happening on the streets; they are happening on servers. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has grown to such an extent that networks creating deepfakes to mimic the voices and videos of your loved ones to deceive you have emerged. In such times, saying "I don't know technology" is not innocence; it is inviting danger.

This is exactly why I wrote the book 'AI Bhagavadgita'. Just like the despair and confusion Arjuna faced in the Mahabharata war, our youth and the common people today stand bewildered before this flood of technology. Everyone has the anxiety: "Will AI take away our jobs? Is this good or bad for humanity?"

What society needs at this hour is not fear, but clarity and guidance. 'AI Bhagavadgita' is not just a technology book; it is a philosophy for the digital age. This book shows you the 'Vishwaroopa' (universal form) of this massive power of technology while also creating the awareness of how to handle it without fear.

To win in this future 'Digital Kurukshetra', we must have complete control over the weapon of technology in our hands. No matter how intelligent machines become, discretion must remain with humans. We must rule technology; technology should not rule us. Instilling that consciousness and confidence in society is the significance and purpose of this book.

Observe the reality before our eyes today. Technology is no longer limited to cities. From the elders sitting on the village platforms to the child climbing school steps, everyone has a smartphone in their hand. The network has reached every remote village today. It is as if there is no place without the internet. This is indeed a happy thing.

But how much do we really know about this palm-sized illusion called the mobile phone that we are using? Unfortunately, most people do not have a deep understanding of its pros and cons. We do not know the truth that while the device in our hand can bring all the good things of the world to us, it can also bring danger just as quickly.

When technology benefits us, when work becomes easy, we consider it normal; no one talks about it. We think, "Oh, how convenient," and stay quiet. But what if there is a single nuisance from that same technology? A small slip-up? It causes unbearable, irreparable loss in our lives. Crying then is of no use.

The shock of a bank account being emptied due to a wrong click, private photos being made public due to carelessness, or our children becoming addicted to online games brings the entire family to the streets. "We remain silent when it is useful, but sit with our hands on our heads only when there is trouble." This should not happen. Preventing these nuisances and creating awareness about them is the core purpose of 'Tech Vaidya'.

In this context, I must share another bitter truth with you. Take a look at the tech media around us today. What do you see? In most places, apart from praising companies and the loud promotion of new products, what else is there? It is a matter of regret that most tech media in circulation today are working merely like PR (Public Relations) agencies.

Translating press releases given by a mobile company or gadget manufacturer verbatim and publishing them is being portrayed as 'tech journalism'. There is no one to question the attractive lies or half-truths companies tell about their products. There is hardly any difference between the 'brochures' printed by companies themselves and some tech news today. I am not saying everything is like this. But it must have come to your notice that a large part is occupied by such content.

But 'Tech Vaidya' is not ready to tread this path. We are not here to be brochures for companies. We are here to be the voice of the readers. If a phone or gadget comes to the market, more than praising its color and design, we have the stubbornness to analyze whether it is truly useful for our farmer, our student, or our homemaker. We have the responsibility to expose the flaws companies hide, in a language the common man understands.

To tell the truth, 'Tech Vaidya' is taking a big risk. Speaking the truth in today's market is not easy. One has to face the wrath of companies, advertisements might slip away, or review units might not be provided. But, having taken the name 'Vaidya' (Doctor), we cannot hide the disease and lie to the patient. No matter how difficult the disease, diagnosing and treating it is our dharma. Similarly, placing both the pros and cons of technology directly before you is our duty.

I want to honestly tell you one more thing. While embarking on this adventure, "I do not dream of counting crores tomorrow." I know the reality. Quality journalism does not bring riches overnight. But at the same time, "I am not ready to starve either!"

Because, for an independent and fearless media to survive, it needs financial strength. My team, our servers, our research—all these need fuel. No one can win a war on an empty stomach. Only if we stand strong can we be a strong voice for you.

That is why, friends, for any good work to last long, it needs the fuel of society's support. Just as a lamp needs oil to burn, the oil of friendship is essential for this lamp of awareness to keep burning. In this regard, I hope the corporate sector and advertisers will join hands with us.

Our platform is not just a medium for promotion; rather, it is a bridge of credibility. By joining us, you don't just grow your brands, but you water the roots of an educated and safe digital society. Your partnership gives us new strength to deliver quality technology knowledge to our Kannada people. My wish is that this becomes a bond of mutual growth and social concern, more than just a transaction.

Through 'Neat Reachable Creative Solutions', there is only one resolve behind this effort my team and I are making: "Every Byte is Technology" ("Kanakanavoo Tantrajnana"). The information we provide is not just news; it is the armor for your digital life.

I believe that you will all be with me on this journey, helping us grow. Come, let us face this digital era without fear, with awareness.

With love,
Your Nagaraj Vaidya
